Sharing Research
Any scientist needs to communicate findings to their fellow expert peers, no matter their field of expertise. Beyond simply stating the facts and the results, I believe that each report or presentation must have a clear message, and place itself in the larger research conversation.
“Information is not knowledge.” -Albert Einstein
I hope that the four artifacts below give you an idea of what forms of communication I have gotten the chance to use at Stanford.
The first three artifacts are a research poster, a research report and a presentation that I completed as part of three separate class projects, and they exemplify methods I’ve learned to share my own research. On the other hand, the final artifact is a literature review that shows what I’ve learned about research fields as areas of ongoing discussion and exchange.
